32 Weeks
Well I know I haven't updated for about two weeks so I decided to quickly take the time to do this. On Thursday, November 12 we had an appointment with our babies surgene Dr. Cleveland. He looks exactly like Dr. Phil...he is amazing! I was hoping to go in and have him tell me your babies heart defect is something we see all the time and no problem we can fix it. That is what we all wish we could hear when we are sick or in pain but it was a little different than that. Basically what they are going to try is getting her stabilized and see how she reacts to breathing on her own. Then they may or may not attempt to do surgery. I know they had said some of these things before but it really hit me that day. It was an emotional day but thank goodness I am not stuck in a hospital bed. I am still home with my wonderful family! That is a BLESSING in itself! I also had a fetal echo on Tuesday, November 17th and the vein/artery has not shrunk...this is another BLESSING! The next appointment scheduled is meet & greet with the Dr. who will be cutting me open...yee hah! We feel so grateful for many things in our life & are grateful for this trial in our life! We are growing each day from this experience!

30 weeks
I had another Doctor's appointment which included a Level 2 ultrasound. Our little girl is 4 lbs. 3 oz. She is growing very well and doing good inside the womb (mom's a little unconvertible and feels way to much pressure but that's what pregnant life is all about right????). She is actually measuring 34 weeks which is what we like to hear...the bigger the better in this situation! I have lots of extra fluid which is why the pressure. Normal is 15%-19% and mine is 30%. Holy Cow it explains why I am so HUGE! This Thursday we get to meet the babies heart surgeon Dr. Cleveland at St. Joe's Hospital. We are looking forward to this very big special day! I am feeling a little overwhelmed this month with so many doctors appointments but grateful we have them in our life! They are truly a blessing to have around! I am also thankful for a sweet friend who cleaned my house, friends who babysit Amberly while I have my appointments and all the caring phone calls each day or emails sent to me daily. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We love you so much!

Happy Fall Y'all!
I love this time of year even though it is still so hot! I seriously am sweating right now! I love to think of those things I am truly grateful for in my life. There are many in my life right now. The biggest blessing is my husband & my children. I love them so much! I am amazed each day of how blessed I am to have them in my life! I love them with all of my heart. I have a sign in my kitchen that says BE THANKFUL I love seeing this all day because it helps me reflect on those things that I am thankful for!

Projects...keeping my mind busy
I have had a couple of projects lately that have needed some finishing up. This summer while I was in Logan, UT visiting family I had the opportunity to stay with my grandparents. While I was there we went through several boxes to find lots and lots of scrap material. I decided to take on the challenge to make a quilt my ward was making. I finished it there after many hours of work and had it quilted. Well I finished binding it about 2 weeks ago. It really means so much to me because it is fabric that my grandma Baker used years ago for her girls clothes. I love it so much and I am grateful it is finished!
Amberly's birthday was the beginning of this month so I wanted to make her something. We have so many quilts and blankets but she didn't have a princess blanket...so I decided to make one for her. I needed a little help though so a very sweet patient friend named Karen came to the rescue and taught me many different things. How grateful I am to her! I finished the quilt before my mom came to town and had it quilted the next day. It took me quite sometime to put the cute white binding ruffle around it (what a pain in the rump) but it turned out cute better than I thought it was going to.
Then I decided oh how fun it would be to have a quilt for every holiday to put on the couch to cuddle with. I am NOT going to make one for every holiday. I have decided one was enough. It is a Halloween quilt. This darling material became such a pain in my neck after trying to machine quilt it without a whatever sewimg foot I needed. So after about 10-15 hours sitting on the couch unpicking I decided to tie it with yarn (which is not my favorite) but it just had to work because I was determined to finish by Halloween. If you could only imagine a big pregnant belly tying a quilt...it was a challenge but I did finish the quilt 2 days before Halloween. It was an accomplishment for me because I made this quilt start to finish without any help!!!! YEA!!!! I think I might be taking a break for awhile except I keep thinking I should make a little baby girl blanket for this sweet little angel who will be coming in 2 months! Anybody want to do it for me????? just kidding!

Happy 34th Birthday to Keith!
Halloween!
Family Night
We had Craig & Jana & kids come over for soup & rolls and carve pumpkins. We had such a great night together. Steve, Kirsten, Bryce & Chelsea came too along with Kent and some friends. We laughed lots and had fun!

Ward Halloween Carnival
What a great neighborhood tradition! This year my sister Jana and her kids came. The cousins had a blast spending time together and hitting every booth which included a haunted house, fish pond, bean bag toss, popcorn, cupcake walk, hay ride, toilet toss, face painting, dunk tank (which Keith and Lance were great sports to participate in this fun COLD activity) and free food (hot dogs, chips and root beer. I think we needed to have HOT cocoa instead because of the chill in the weather change. It was so much fun! The costumes were fabulous as always!
Amberly as Princess Cinderella...boy was she in heaven being Cinderella. It is her favorite princess ever!
This is Rylan as a cute Raccoon and Amberly as Princess Cinderella! This was Rylan's first costume then he decided to be a clown then a cowboy, pirate and on Halloween night an Indian. It was quite entertaining trying to make him happy! Glad he finally decided and he had tons of fun!
Taylen, Kyler, Rylan and Amberly so proud of the stuffed animals they won!
Rylan the clown fishing for some yummy candy for mom (told him he had to get me a chocolate one and he did)

Cute little Snow White (Taylen) going fishing!
D.J. Stahle helping Amberly fish!
All the neighborhood friends or at least half of them!

Keith was a good sport and had a great time in the dunk tank! The water was actually warm from our water heater! I bet he was glad because it was freezing outside!
Halloween Night
Shaylee dressed up as a Rock Star (reused her clogging outfit from dance yea!) Rylan as Chief Rylan and Amberly of course Princess Cinderella.

The cute little dragon is Clay. Amberly and Clay had more fun sitting and passing out candy than they did walking around Trick or Treating. It was so cute!
We had a great month of October! I love this time of year when we get to see so many friends and family in the neighborhood! It brings me much happiness!
Halloween Night
Our little baby girl is growing...
We just recently had another fetal echo at St. Joe's Hospital. The vein they are watching has not shrunk which is what we like to here. I was very grateful Julie was able to come with me. Our sweet little one weighs about 2 1/2 lbs. She is growing well! What a blessing!
