Little Miss Piggy...

She had to change formula yesterday and she has drank 4 oz. every three hours today without throwing up.  She is on a special diet to get the fat thinner or something like that.  The new formula still has fat in it but a different kind of fat.  I thought Elecare Formula smelled bad oh my gosh the Portagen Formula is about the same but those poopy diapers are horrible smelling!!!  The fluid is still draining.

Paige...

The fluid is still draining.  She is doing good!  She is smiling and laughing!  She is going in for a Catherization of her heart tomorrow morning at 9 am.  We will be having a big conference meeting on Tuesday morning to discuss surgery.  I am thankful for the visitors who have come to cry, laugh, cry, laugh and cry somemore!  It is hard to see Keith break down.  He is amazing!  I have the best husband in the whole world!  I am thankful for friends who are sacrificing time for my family to take care of my kiddos at home.  I miss them!  I am really hoping to have a big pizza party and movie night in the hospital with them Friday night.  I am so thankful for sweet Doctor's and nurses who are concerned and love little Paige like there own child.  We are in a great place!

These two women have saved my life!  They are amazing!  They are my eternal friends!  I love them!  They have lifted me up many times the last couple months!  They are amazing examples of hope & faith!

Paige...

Our sweet little girl has been admitted to the hospital.  She has fluid by her lungs and some very complicated things going on with her pulmonary veins.  She will be under going surgery next week.  We had a conference this morning and all I can say is overwhelming and a lot of tears were shed.  Paige is doing ok right now since the fluid is draining.  She is strong and a huge blessing to our family!

Little Bunnies...

Shaylee and Amberly and several other friends performed with the Mesa High Cheerleaders at the Friday night football game.  I love High School Football Games...it brought back fun memories of when I went to High School many years back.  It was so much fun to see my girls dancing and cheering.  They had a great time too with friends!

The full moon was gorgeous!  I had to get a picture of it!

My book...

Our ward has a Women's Retreat each year.  This year we stayed here instead of renting a cabin.  I was asked to teach one of the classes on Blogging and the internet at the beginning of September.  Well it motivated me to do something I have wanted to do for a long time.  Make my blog into a bound book for my family.  So I called a friend to teach me how to use the software.  I also taught a friend how to create a blog for herself so I would be able to help the sister's create one for themselves if they wanted to.  For one whole week I would set a couple hours during the day to edit my book.  I finally finished after a week and sent it off by a click of a button.  It said I would receive it on the 2oth of September.  Perfect timing I thought for the class.  I watched for the Fed Ex truck everyday.  Nothing came until Thursday.  I couldn't even control myself I was so excited.  It came just in time!

This is how it turned out and it was so worth it!  I am working on 2009 and hope to get it done for Christmas for my kids.  I love it and it has inspired me to keep up on my blog.  I am so grateful for software and computers so I can have these things to bless my life for good.

Feeling better...

I have tried and tried to get a picture of her two top teeth and this is the closest I have gotten.  So cute!

What a fun fort.  Shaylee & Rylan were playing peek a boo with Paige and they got her giggling pretty hard.

This is Amberly playing "Boo" with Paige.

WOW!  The last week and a half has been a roller coaster.  That nasty COLD got three of us sick. Amberly was sick on Sunday through Tuesday night.  It hit me on Monday and I feel better but that darn cough is just not going away!  Paige has a runny nose but is so much happier.  She actually has had a great week.  I needed a big kick in the pants and a little lecture on giving her ALL her medicine faithfully EVERYDAY!  It has helped her so much.  I dislike giving so much to her little body! Sometimes we have to do things we don't like to do like cleaning house, laundry, all those wonderful things.  But when they are done we are so much happier.  It's the same way with Paige's medicine I don't like to give it to her and she doesn't like it but it makes her feel better!  It has made a huge difference and we are all enjoying happy little Paige.  She talks, laughs, smiles and is just so happy!
Sick little Amberly.  It is not fun being sick at all!
Happy Shaylee...this girl knows how to have some fun!  She loves clogging and has become very good at it. She practices all the time barefoot especially in the kitchen when she is doing the dishes.  It is fun to see her enjoy something so much.  Shaylee is such a hard worker and always wants to be an over achiever.  She spends many hours every day on her homework and when she has some free time she loves to go watch the boys play football.  Her uncle Kent told her she needed to be a football player.  She's a great kid to have around.

Elder Quentin L. Cook
a member of the Quorum of the Twelve

just spoke to us at a Special Stake Conference.

It was such a great experience to have an apostle of the Lord speak to us on Sunday morning.  The spirit was felt throughout the whole meeting.  Rylan and I sat about 5 rows back and after the meeting I wanted to stick around to shake his hand but left a minute too soon.  Keith & the girls listened from the Relief Society Room so Paige could make all the noise she wanted too.  I enjoyed each message that was shared.  Quentin L. Cook spoke on strengthening our families and increasing our faith. He spoke about different prophets and how they received revelation for future events. He blessed the congregation to know how to touch our children and to show love to our wayward children. He blessed us to have the things we need not what we want. He also blessed us to have the gospel in our hearts and peace. He left us with the scripture Alma 36:30 "....inasmuch as ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall prosper in the land....".  President Smith spoke on having charity in our bowels(emotions). He spoke on loving our neighbor and God. He wants us all to be guardians of virtue and to lengthen our prayers.

Canoe Trip...

Keith took the scouts from our ward to Blue Ridge Reservoir  to do some fun canoeing.  He took Rylan along with him.  Rylan has had three toads that stink and who needed a new home in the wild.  I put them in a little container with water and sent them on there way.  Shaylee and Rylan cleaned out the tank and we put a cute 1 day old Sonoran Desert Tortoise.

I asked Rylan what his favorite thing he said, "I DON'T KNOW!" NO he said and then he laughed and laughed and laughed again.  And then Rylan said letting my frogs go. Keith said that.  I don't know
Rylan said again and laughed again and again and it is funny because he knows what i am writing because he is a great reader.

My two cool boys.  Off they go to spend some time doing what they both love best...camping!
Rylan completely out cold!  He slept almost the entire way up.
Delicious Dutch Oven Corn Bread....YUM YUM just right!

Delicious "chicken on the bone" is what Rylan calls Fried Chicken.  They loved this too!

Rylan loved the donut holes covered with cinnamon and sugar.  He wants to have them for FHE treat.
The scouts and leaders.  There was so much smoke when they arrived they couldn't see across the lake. They decided to have faith it would go away and it cleared up in about an hour and a half.  It was thick smoke from a controlled burn nearby.
This is Rylan taking a break from swimming.
YIKES!  A SNAKE!  I HATE SNAKES!  REALLY!  When I was looking at the pictures of the trip I came across this picture and I screamed out loud.  Rylan loved watching it swim around in the lake.
