just spoke to us at a Special Stake Conference.

It was such a great experience to have an apostle of the Lord speak to us on Sunday morning.  The spirit was felt throughout the whole meeting.  Rylan and I sat about 5 rows back and after the meeting I wanted to stick around to shake his hand but left a minute too soon.  Keith & the girls listened from the Relief Society Room so Paige could make all the noise she wanted too.  I enjoyed each message that was shared.  Quentin L. Cook spoke on strengthening our families and increasing our faith. He spoke about different prophets and how they received revelation for future events. He blessed the congregation to know how to touch our children and to show love to our wayward children. He blessed us to have the things we need not what we want. He also blessed us to have the gospel in our hearts and peace. He left us with the scripture Alma 36:30 "....inasmuch as ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall prosper in the land....".  President Smith spoke on having charity in our bowels(emotions). He spoke on loving our neighbor and God. He wants us all to be guardians of virtue and to lengthen our prayers.
