Paige is 6 1/2 weeks old

I can't believe Paige is already 6 1/2 weeks old.  She is so sweet!  She has started to smile at us and that just melts my heart.  I couldn't imagine life without her.  She truly is a miracle!  I am so thankful each day she is here.  I am in love with her!

Paige got to try her new little sponge in the big bath tub the other day with her big sister Amberly.  Amberly was thrilled that she got to take a bath with her new little sister.  Paige was so relaxed.

Cute little sisters taking a bath together.  I can't believe how big Amberly really is it made me a little sad.
All clean and warm!
Today while I was giving Paige a bath I could hear this little voice yelling, "Sister Fort, Sister Fort, Sister Fort, Sister Fort...just like a broken record.  I quickly got Paige dressed and came around the corner into the family room...to my surprise Amberly was outside standing on a ladder chatting with Sister Fort.  I grabbed my camera and quietly opened the back door to take a picture.  She loves Sister Fort and ALWAYS wants to talk to her at the back wall.  Sister Fort is the sweetest, cutest lady in the world...and she has LOTS of patience with little Amberly.  I am thankful for good neighbors.  Later on she called and asked if Amberly could eat peanut butter.  I said yes so we met her at the back wall and she gave us "puppy chow".  She told Amberly it was dog food and told her to taste one.  Amberly of course said, "NO!"  Elaine told her she'd try one so she did and then Amberly insisted I try one too.  She said, "Mom is it good?"  I told her she was going to have to taste one to see if it is good or not so Amberly tried the "dog food" and decided she wanted some in a bowl while she was having quiet time.  Like I said I love my neighbors!

What a BLESSING...
It is so wonderful knowing Paige didn't have to have surgery today.  What a HUGE relief!!! I was NOT ready to be in the hospital again...a little too soon.  I want to keep her home as long as possible.  It is great to have her here with us even though I am a little stir crazy but I do keep busy thinking up new projects to do (that may be good and bad)...and keeping up with the everyday things.  Today Paige had a doctor's appointment and she now weighs 10 lbs. 6 oz. 22 inches long.  Go Paige!  She is growing too fast.  With this being our last baby I want her to be a baby forever.  I love having a new baby around even though Keith and I are completely sleep deprived it is wonderful!  I appreciate all my friends keeping in touch with me and coming around to see how things are going.  Thanks so much!!!!!!!  I am really going to try and get my pictures downloaded off my camera so pictures are coming soon.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!  At the last minute Keith and I had the opportunity to have a little date together at our ward valentines dinner.  We had delicious food and great entertainment.  We were thankful Sandy could babysit our kids at such a short notice.  On Sunday I took the kids to sacrament meeting and switched with Keith so he could go teach his lesson.  While they were gone I turned on the October 2009 general conference from my Ipod and set up for a special valentine's dinner for my family.  When the kids got home the candles were lit...they were surprised.  It was a great day with lots of special visitors.  I love my family and husband very much!
Daddy and Amberly dancing to some Love Songs.  It was so cute!
I've always wanted to dip strawberries and decorate them really pretty so I did it and they turned out!  The strawberries were so sweet!
Thanks to Keith & Rylan for all the beautiful roses for the girls.  They were beautiful and made the day extra special!

Rylan licking the chocolate covered spoon.  Delicious!
The best big sister ever...seriously she is a HUGE helper!  I am grateful!
Our little Paige sound asleep.  Shaylee dressed her up today for Valentine's Day!  She was so excited to finally put the dress that Grandma Thurston sent her in the mail.
Rylan wanted to take a picture of the strawberries & me...say CHEESE!
Amberly helping daddy make garlic mashed potatoes.  WOW!  They turned out yummy!
Here's the gang.  Kyler, Rylan (something was wrong with his tongue), Taylen, Amberly, Uncle Kent, Uncle Shane.
Aunt Marleah & Mikayla

I really felt ambishous (hopefully I spelt this right...don't laugh if I did).  I decided to make these pretty brownies.  Last time I tried to use this mold I ruined it and through all my hard work in the garbage.  This time I sprayed I felt like a cup of Pam in each mold...well it worked and they turned out.  It was one of those good cooking days.   I haven't had to cook for awhile because of all my very generous neighbors who have brought in dinner to our family.  It felt good to make a great meal again.  I really enjoy cooking!
Uncle Kent holding Paige for the first time.  He wasn't excited about this at all...he was so nervous to hold her because of her heart surgery.  Really he didn't like it!

Darling little Paige...please no more pictures mom and dad!

We LOVE having Paige home!  Life is a little different but so much better at HOME!  We are lacking on a little sleep but we try to catch up during the day.  Things are going well.  We just love, love, love this new little one!  She definitely doesn't lack any attention!

Our friend Jennifer Wheeler made two hats for Paige.  A little brown one and this darling purple one.  We love them!
As I was picking up a little last night before we went to bed I had to stop and just ponder this precious moment.  Daddy with his two little girls sound asleep.  Precious!
My sister Jana made this hat for Paige.  I can't believe she learned how to make these darling hats and flowers on You Tube.  Amazing!  She has so much talent!  Thanks sis!  My mom made some darling receiving blankets for Paige and Amberly picked out her favorite one this morning after her bath to match her pink outfit.  Amberly is a HUGE helper and is so in LOVE with her sister.
Paige got her first little spong bath in the sink.  It was so much fun!  I love the smell of babies after they are clean...she really needed a bath too!

Paige is coming home

We had a fun Saturday morning with the kids planting flowers and getting house chores done then headed off to the hospital.  Jana watched Amberly and Rylan while Shaylee & Mikayla went to the hospital with us.  When we got to Paige's room the nurse informed me that Paige would be going home today.  I shouted for JOY and couldn't believe it!  I was so excited!  We had to wait quite awhile until discharge papers were complete and so forth so Keith took the girls to do a service project.  They went to the library and organized the children's books.  They had a good time and it made them feel good inside plus it made time pass by a little quicker. Finally around 4:00 her pick line came out and she was free of EVERYTHING!  I changed her diaper and got to dress her for the first time.  I made sure she ate before we left and we loaded to up into her car seat to go home.  We were so excited!  Welcome Home Paige...you'll love being home!!!
