Easter...

First we woke up to the cutest front yard on the block. Someone special took the time to color 10 dozen eggs and fill 2 more dozen with yummy candy and drop them all over our grass with the cutest sign that said Happy Easter. We love you whoever did this. It made us so happy! It was so bright and cheerful. THANK YOU!!!!!

Second the kids searched for their easter baskets and dad made delicious biscuits and gravy!

Third we watched the morning session of General Conference and enjoyed coloring the cute books given to the kids from primary. Then after the morning session was over we gathered in the kitchen to make deviled eggs, two 9x13 pans of augratin potatoes, 45 homemade rolls and clean up all in 2 hours. WOW! We did it too!

Fifth we watched the second session of General Conference and then headed over to Jana & Craig's for a delicious Easter dinner. The kids had fun with Uncle Kent bouncing them on the trampoline, coloring easter eggs & finding the eggs in the backyard. I missed not having my whole family together for easter. We have had it at our house for the last couple of years and I really did miss everyone being together on Easter. I am thankful Jana & Craig had it...thank you!

Sixth it was a wonderful beautiful spring day! The spirit was felt as we listened to our Prophet President Monson and all those who spoke. I always feel renewed and inspired to do better. I am grateful for conference!

Smith said:"Joseph Smith taught the doctrine that the infant child that was laid away in death would come up in the resurrection as a child; and pointing to the mother of a lifeless child, he said to her: ' You will have the joy, the pleasure, and satisfaction of nurturing this child, after its resurrection, until it reaches the full stature of its spirit.' There is restitution, there is growth, there is development, after the resurrection from death. I love this truth. It speaks volume of happiness, of joy and gratitude to my soul. Thank the Lord he has revealed these principles to us."
