What a BIG day for PAIGE! She doesn't use her legs so my dad thought this might help her. We are really hoping she does.
I am so thankful for all my friends who helped make the party a success! We had splenty of cupcakes, root beer and ice cream! It was so great to see everyone! I really felt bad I didn't talk to each person and thank them for coming so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I love you!
I wasn't expecting gifts but thank you for those of you who brought them. Paige sure enjoyed opening them and now enjoys playing with them at home! I was very grateful for Kirsten for playing with Paige while I went around visiting. Thank you!
Bubbles were one of Paige's favorite things in the hospital. They entertained her many times. We still loves them!
Megan Shepherd always playing with Paige. She loves her so much!
I was so thankful my mom and dad traveled far to come celebrate this special day with us. It was a quick fun visit. They left Saturday after the party and my dad got his 9th kidney stone on the way out of town. I hate that my dad has to go through pain like that!!!!!

Flag football...
Rylan's 2nd game.
Papa and Grandma Thurston came to town for Paige's birthday party. We were happy they could see Rylan play football. Wish Papa lived closer so he could teach Rylan how to play the game.
Coach Scott having a pow wow with the boys after the game.

Learning to read...
Amberly got Fancy Nancy books for Christmas and loves them! She wants to read so bad but she is a "I CAN DO IT MYSELF" type child so helping is out of the question!!!! She sounds all the letters out in each word and then tries to make it out as a word. I love listening to her! She cracks me up!
I was so happy the camera was close by to grab...this is the best picture of her!

Happy 1st Birthday Paige...
It was exactly a year ago on January 11, 2010 I entered the doors of St. Joseph's Hospital to deliver by C-section
She weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. 21" long. She came out screaming and pink ready to face the many complications her little body has.
Paige had some very special visitors (two of them from Australia) come sing to her on her birthday! She got really shy and put her head down until they were finished! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! It was wonderful and even made tears fill my eyes! We have great youth!
I tried really hard to put a bow in her hair but of course she didn't like it and immediately tried to take if off.
our sweet MIRACLE Paige
Glenn Surgery August 16, 2010...Paige 7 months old
She has made it through 3 open heart surgeries and many other painful things! It has been a long road but Paige is a strong little girl! I am so thankful Heavenly Father answered all the prayers that were said in her behalf to keep her here on earth!
I made it!!!
Paige with her 1st birthday card from Uncle Steve & Aunt Kirsten. It was real cute and said, "Sometimes you just have to stop and taste the frosting!"

We managed to distract her from taking the bow all the way out with her 1st birthday
cupcake!
Paige wasn't sure what to do with her cupcake. We helped her out a little by putting some frosting on her fingers but she made a horrible face and then we found out it wasn't the best tasting frosting!
A very happy family and a very happy day!

Practicing the piano...
This was so sweet. Rylan was playing with Paige in the family room when I asked him to go practice the piano. He grabbed her bumbo, put her in it and sat her right by his side on the piano bench. Then he was ready to practice piano. She loved it and loves him so much! They have such a special bond. Paige kept putting her hand on top of his while he was practicing. Very sweet!

Happy New Year...2011!
Happy New Year to family & friends! We just got back into town from spending a wonderful couple days with my sister Jana in Thatcher, AZ. It snowed on the mountains and on us a little but never stuck to the ground. The kids were so excited to see snow! We are so thankful my parents could meet us half way and visit as well. We are grateful for family and enjoyed every minute. My sister Jana and I felt like we were in the movie cheaper by the dozen feeding all those kids. We got a little system down quick. It was wonderful to see the Gila Valley Temple last night while leaving that great valley. Angel Moroni was shining so brightly and it just gave me the chills! I am so grateful to be a member of this great church and to have temples where we can feel peace and serve our Heavenly Father. I am looking forward to having a great year with good health!
Aunt Tootsie & Uncle Charlie loving on Paige. It was so great to spend time with them & get to know Charlie's kids Ian & Braden. They are great boys!
The kids about to go swimming at the hotel. The mountains were beautiful!
The beautiful Gila Valley Temple...sure wish I could've gotten a better picture.
Uncle Charlie took these adorable pictures of Paige while we were driving around Thatcher.
