Paige's checkup...

Paige had a checkup on Thursday with Beth. Amberly came with me and was a huge help. She loves the attention she gets when she goes with me. All the nurses and doctors love her so much and really include her when they talk about Paige. We got there at 9:00 am to check in to Radiology for Paige's chest x-ray. When they called us back after about 15 minutes Amberly had to sit out in the waiting room with a technician while I helped hold Paige down for her chest x-ray. As soon as I was finished we found Amberly and the technician having a great conversation about Preschool. She told me everything they talked about while we walked to the other building for Paige's appointment. She loves to race me to the elevators and guess which one is going to open first. Paige's visit with Beth went well. The fluid is still there but less. You can tell she is starting to feel better by the way she looks and acts. She is off oxygen and we are still trying to adjust medication to find the right balance. She did loose weight but that is normal. We need to get her to gain weight so the pulmonary artery band will become tighter in time as she grows. We are going to try to add rice cereal to her portagen formula for her new diet. We will see if she likes it and if she does we hope she will gain weight! We were in and out in time to get home by 11:30, eat lunch, gather dance clothes and backpack and get Amberly to Preschool by 12:00. WOW! We did it! I even got a little time to get my personal devotional in for the day.

There is restitution, there is growth, there is development, after the resurrection from death. I love this truth. It speaks volume of happiness, of joy and gratitude to my soul. Thank the Lord he has revealed these principles to us."
